For Rendez-vous, Eugénie Rebetez invites five artists with different backgrounds and stage experiences to gather around her and her piano. The songs, which she has composed and written, set the tempo and create the framework for the encounters. All the guests take part in the story telling with their voices and their bodies. Their presence, their listening, their gaze support and accompany Eugénie’s journey on stage, a journey that resembles the one she has been leading for many years in the world of performing arts. Oscillating between show and poetry, Rendez-vous is an intimate cabaret that uses the magic of the moment and draws its power from gentleness.
